Meet the Band
Vocals
Siobhan
Siobhan has been singing with bands for over 25 years. One of her career highlights was auditioning for the X Factor on ITV!
She has been the lead singer for a variety of cover bands, as well as Big Bands across the North West.
Siobhan joined Midnight Shindig in 2023, bringing her love of singing and musicality with her many years of experience.
Guitar
Jon
Jon’s love of guitars started when he was just 10 years old. From this early age he couldn’t put the guitar down. He set up his first band at school with his brother and performed his first live gig there in front of what seemed to be a huge audience. In fact, it was probably only 50 or so but it certainly inspired Jon to get out and perform.
For years Jon played in various bands and performed in local pubs and clubs before settling down with his family.
To keep in with music whilst family life took over, Jon created a Home Recording Studio and continued to play / record all types of music and he became very interested in the technical side of music production and sound.
More recently, Jon was asked to dep in a couple of bands and he got the bug again of performing live. This gave him the idea of setting up his own band and he formed Midnight Shindig.
The Studio is now the rehearsal space and Jon has surrounded himself with top musicians and is excited to be playing live again.
Bass
Andy
Andy has been playing bass for over 35 years, playing in a variety of musical styles from Punk and Thrash Metal, Jazz, Motown and Soul. Andy cut his teeth playing in the SW of England during the mid to late 80s, thoroughly immersed in the Thrash / Punk / Hardcore crossover scene.
A move to the North of England coincided with a move towards more mellow music. As a former member of Beggar Joe, Andy got the chance to play upright bass at various festivals in the UK and Europe (Bern, Lucerne, Faro, Davos, providing support for Ian Brown and playing gigs as far away as Ghangzhou, China.
A lover of all musical tastes (Jazz, Soul, Motown, Funk, Rock etc), Andy has been providing bass services for a number of function outfits over the years playing weddings, festivals, corporate events etc.
A teacher of music for 20 plus years, Andy has recently decided to spend more time with his first passion, providing low end musical content for as many outfits as time allows.

Tracey
Meet Tracey, a versatile and accomplished musician who is thrilled to be part of the Shindig gang!
Trained as a classical clarinettist at the Royal Northern College of Music, Tracey graduated with a Gmus(hons) degree and postgraduate diploma in professional performance.
She is also a dedicated music educator with 35 years experience teaching clarinet and saxophone, both privately and within schools, to all ages and levels.
Tracey has played in a diverse array of ensembles over the years, including jazz, latin, classical, tango & big bands.More than anything, it's music variety that appeals!
She also enjoys jamming along to tracks at various dance scenes throughout the UK, as it allows her to combine her 2 main passions of playing...or dancing to the music! Whilst on a Cuban music course 17 years ago, she experienced an unforgettable night of salsa dancing along to none other than Buena Vista Social Club, performing in Old Havana Square.
Cue an inescapable addiction to salsa, lindy hop, blues, tango, west coast swing and modern jive! If she isn't dancing to it, Tracey can still be found on the dance floor jamming along. With this constant appetite for music, Tracey's influences pretty much cover the globe and all eras!
